Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic Thames Water framework team based in East Hyde, Bedfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major project that will make a real difference in the water and wastewater industry!

Location & Hours

Location: East Hyde, Bedfordshire - Remote working may be available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 45 hours per week - We offer flexibility, so just let us know your preferences when you speak to us!

Your Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be the lead electrical specialist on a significant infrastructure project involving sewage process systems, biomethane, digesters, and sludge works. You’ll ensure that all electrical systems are designed and built to the highest standards, taking ownership from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical engineering efforts from inception to completion, collaborating with client engineering and operational staff.
  • Determine preliminary and detailed design requirements, developing practical solutions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, specialist subcontractors, and in-house teams for seamless project delivery.
  • Take overall responsibility for profit and loss on contracts, ensuring completion of all project-specific reports.
  • Compile final contract documentation for client closeout, including as-built drawings, test sheets, and operation and maintenance manuals.
