Are you ready to make a difference in a vibrant school environment? We’re on the lookout for a Premises Officer to join our dedicated Lewisham PFI Schools team at Trinity School, Lewisham.

Location:

Trinity School, Lewisham

Hours:

40 hours per week

Your Role

As a Premises Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our school environment is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained. You’ll collaborate closely with the Premises Manager and school staff to support the smooth running of the premises. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in maintaining high standards, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the premises.
  • Carry out minor repairs, including replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky taps, patching walls, and repairing door hardware.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance issues and liaise with external contractors for larger repairs.
  • Assist school staff with porterage tasks, such as moving furniture, mounting displays, and delivering parcels.
  • Maintain site security by opening and locking gates, patrolling the premises, and ensuring safety doors are secured.

What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for you if:

  • You have previous experience in premises management, facilities maintenance, or a similar role.
  • You possess a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and can identify potential hazards.
  • You are capable of handling physical tasks safely, including moving equipment and furniture.
  • You are flexible and willing to work outside regular hours when needed.
