Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Structural Technician to join our dynamic Design team based in beautiful Norfolk. With some agile working options, this role offers flexibility and the chance to make a real impact in the design sector, focusing on highways, rail, and water.

Location & Hours

Location: Norfolk - with some agile working options available.

Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility on hours if desired. Just let us know when you speak to us!

About You

Are you an experienced Senior Structural Technician who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality drawings and models? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a passion for delivering exceptional results? If so, we want to hear from you!

  • Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor's degree (construction-related) or HNC/BTEC (or equivalent) in Structural/Civil Engineering, Building, or Construction.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in producing building structures models and drawings compliant with CDM Regulations and British/European Standards.
  • Skills: Highly capable in REVIT, Navisworks, and AutoCAD on building structures projects.
  • Driving License: A full driving license is required.

About the Role

As a Senior Structural Technician, you’ll be a vital part of our Structures & Geotechnical team, contributing to the delivery of complex Civil & Structural Permanent Works services. Your expertise will ensure that our solutions are safe, buildable, and compliant at every stage.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Produce BIM models, 3D designs, and 2D CAD drawings using REVIT, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to support tenders and project delivery.
  • Check and coordinate building structures information in a quality assurance environment.
  • Support bid and tender activities, including feasibility studies and concept design development.
  • Undertake site inspections and ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and British/European Standards.
  • Contribute to design deliverables including calculations, reports, and risk assessments.
