Salary
Starting from: £38,000 per annum
About the Role
As a Bridge Engineer within our Kier Design team, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a variety of high-profile infrastructure projects. Your work will contribute to:
- National Highways Major Projects
- National Highways SDF
- TfL frameworks
- Northamptonshire schemes
- South Wales Trunk Road Agency (SWTRA) contracts
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing technical designs, calculations, drawings, and reports
- Supporting Lead Engineers in project delivery
- Assisting with maintenance and new-build structures schemes
- Ensuring designs meet client briefs, standards, and programme requirements
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
Are You the Right Fit?
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or HNC/HND equivalent)
- Working towards or has achieved IEng / CEng (MICE, MIStructE or equivalent)
- Experienced in the inspection, assessment, or design of highways structures
- Familiar with Eurocodes and UK standards (DMRB, MCHW)
- A proactive team player with strong technical and analytical skills
