Your Responsibilities

As an Engineer – Drainage and Water, you will play a crucial role within our Design team, helping to deliver compliant and sustainable drainage and water solutions. This is your chance to:

  • Deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions across a variety of projects.
  • Support the design lead on assigned work packages, ensuring programme, budget, and risk commitments are met.
  • Provide technical input and share your knowledge with the team.
  • Guide early-career engineers while maintaining consistent standards and best practices.

Your Day-to-Day

In this role, you will:

  • Take ownership of technical outputs, delivering assigned tasks to a high standard.
  • Apply relevant design standards, regulations, and quality processes consistently.
  • Manage individual tasks within programme and budget, escalating issues and proposing solutions as needed.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and technical development within the team.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You have demonstrable technical competence in Drainage & Water engineering, with experience across one or more sectors.
  • You can work autonomously, taking ownership of technical outputs while supporting wider package delivery.
  • You consistently apply relevant design standards, regulations, and quality processes.
  • You understand programme, budget, and risk considerations for assigned tasks and escalate issues appropriately.
  • You hold a full driving licence and are willing to travel as required.
