Your Role

As the Registered Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children and young people. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
  • Leading staff practice and driving continuous improvement in line with Area Camden's standards.
  • Maintaining robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency working.
  • Supervising and mentoring staff, organizing work patterns, and delivering care-focused training.
  • Ensuring that each child's individual needs are understood and met consistently.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A Leadership and Management qualification (or a willingness to work towards one) along with NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding laws, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Standards Act 2000.
  • Experience in managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
