About The Role
Welcome to Splash Waterworld, the heart of excitement at our resort! As a Lifeguard, you’ll be at the center of the action, surrounded by thrilling flumes, high-speed slides, and happy guests enjoying their time. Your mission? To ensure everyone has a fantastic experience while keeping safety a top priority.
This isn’t just a sit-and-watch job. You’ll be actively supervising slides, monitoring the wave pool, and leading poolside activities, all while creating unforgettable moments for our guests. At Butlin’s, every day is unique—whether you’re welcoming families during school holidays or hosting guests at our adult-only Big Weekenders, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that keeps the fun flowing year-round.
The Details:
- Full-time role
- 35 hours per week, across 5 days out of 7
- Includes evenings and weekends
- Live-in accommodation available for those relocating
About You
We’re on the lookout for energetic, responsible individuals who thrive in a lively environment. If you stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and enjoy teamwork, you might be the perfect fit! This role is physically demanding, so being alert and ready to dive in is essential.
To join our team, you’ll need to:
- Be a strong and confident swimmer
- Be aged 18 or over
- Have excellent awareness and attention to detail
- Be confident in responding to emergency situations
No NPLQ? No problem! If you have the right attitude and strong swimming skills, we’ll support you in obtaining your National Pool Lifeguard Qualification before you start. Previous experience in leisure, hospitality, or a waterpark environment is a plus, but what we value most is your energy, personality, and passion for guest experience.
