About The Role
Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef to join our vibrant team at Papa John’s! Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef, you’ll play a crucial role in running our kitchen and leading a dynamic team of up to 10 passionate individuals.

At the heart of our values is the commitment to making our guests smile. You’ll ensure that every operational decision keeps our guests at the forefront. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Resource planning and recruitment to build the best team.
  • Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and cooking to standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.

If you have experience in a similar role or are eager to step up in your kitchen career, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications
You should have completed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

As a chef at this level, you’ll also be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring all health, safety, and hygiene standards are met. If you’ve previously worked at Papa John’s and achieved your ROC or AROC qualification, that’s a bonus! But don’t worry—full training will be provided.
