Are you ready to take your architectural career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Architect to join our dynamic Architectural team in Liverpool. This is your chance to lead exciting, multi-disciplinary projects and make a real impact!

Location: Liverpool
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility available
Salary: Starting from £40,000 per annum
Sector: Architecture and Building Solutions

Your Role

As a key leader within Kier Design's growing Architecture team, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of complex projects from concept to completion.
  • Ensure high-quality design and commercial performance.
  • Collaborate in a supportive environment to drive design excellence.
  • Engage with clients and promote the Architecture discipline both internally and externally.

  • Commercially savvy with strong financial and time management skills?
  • Passionate about mentoring and developing a high-performing team?
  • Ready to represent Architecture at a national level and drive design strategy?

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate design teams to produce high-quality, integrated design solutions.
  • Deliver projects on-site, ensuring compliance with cost, program, and quality expectations.
  • Oversee design, procurement, contract administration, and site delivery across multiple projects.
  • Provide direction and QA oversight throughout all stages of design and construction.
  • Champion Architecture within the business and expand service offerings.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you have:

  • Excellent architectural design capability with strong technical detailing.
  • Proven experience leading and managing design teams.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations, procurement, and project delivery.
  • Experience in contract administration, site delivery, and project management.
  • Advanced BIM capability using Revit / Autodesk.
  • Demonstrable experience across all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work.
