Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Engineer to join our dynamic Design team based in London!

As a top-25 engineering consultancy, we specialize in:

  • Reimagining permanent designs for enhanced buildability
  • Designing temporary works and traffic management solutions
  • Advising on procedural management of temporary works, construction materials, ground engineering, and surveying

With preferential access to Kier's £11bn+ project pipeline, including mega projects like High Speed 2 and Hinkley Point C, you’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across all sectors of the built environment.

Location & Working Conditions

Location: London - Enjoy the flexibility of remote working with occasional travel to the office.

Hours: 40 hours per week - We offer flexibility on hours, just let us know what works for you!

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of diverse construction engineering services across our projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in temporary and permanent works design
  • Support tender and bid processes with feasibility studies, design concepts, and value engineering solutions
  • Manage design projects from inception to completion, coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance, acting as a trusted advisor on engineering matters
  • Conduct site visits, technical reviews, and assessments to ensure successful project delivery

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You’re an Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g., IEng MICE) with relevant experience
  • You possess strong technical knowledge in construction engineering and design
  • You’re comfortable managing projects and building positive client relationships
  • You can communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences
  • You’re passionate about continuous improvement, safety, and sustainable engineering practices
