Location & Working Hours
Location: Maple Lodge, Rickmansworth - Enjoy the flexibility of remote working, with occasional travel to the office.
Hours: 45 hours per week - We offer flexibility, so just let us know your preferences when we chat!

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Electrical / ICA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch electrical and ICA engineering solutions for water treatment projects. Your daily tasks will include:
- Reviewing and providing constructive feedback on LV Electrical and ICA documentation, ensuring compliance with water industry asset standards (WIMES).
- Representing Kier at client meetings and conducting technical reviews of electrical and ICA installations and commissioning works on-site.
- Conducting fault finding and system configuration for MCC and ICA equipment, including PLCs and control panels.
- Overseeing the installation of communication networks.
- Attending Factory Acceptance Tests for MCC/RTU builds, SCADA, and PLC control software to ensure all design criteria and operational requirements are met.
- Engaging with the supply chain to provide innovative proposals while maintaining high standards in health & safety, environmental, and quality practices.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You hold an HNC qualification in Electrical/Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- You have experience in ICA engineering, PLCs, HMIs, Profibus networks, and SCADA installations on large-scale water treatment works.
- You possess a solid understanding of Low Voltage large motor control centres and various communications protocols such as Profibus, Modbus, and Ethernet IP.
- You have experience in contractor management and a knack for ensuring safe working practices, complemented by strong interpersonal skills.
- You hold a Full driving licence and are familiar with WIMES and UK water industry standards.
