Your Role at a Glance

As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:

• Competitive Base Salary: Start with £45,370 (including London Weighting Allowance, if applicable) and aim for on-target earnings of up to £57,000.
• Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your earnings with optional overtime and bonuses.
• Structured Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Daily Experience

Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and waiting for you. You’ll be responsible for:

• Routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop.
• Providing member advice and recommendations based on your inspections.
• Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards.

With a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and advanced diagnostics at your disposal, you’ll have everything you need to get people moving safely and confidently.

What You’ll Need

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
