Your Role

As a vital part of our resort, you won’t be confined to just one department. Instead, you’ll have the opportunity to work across various teams, ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience during their stay at Butlin’s.

As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in providing a fun and safe atmosphere at our Splash Waterworld. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring guest safety while they enjoy the pool and flumes.
• Leading and supporting poolside activities to create memorable moments.
• Maintaining excellent attention to detail in all safety protocols.

About You

We’re looking for a high-spirited and fun-loving multi-tasker who enjoys learning and collaborating with a like-minded team. As a Team Member Plus, your week will include:

• Cleaning our accommodations on Mondays and Fridays.
• Working as a lifeguard for the remainder of your contracted hours.

No two days will be the same, and you’ll relish the variety of working with diverse team members and guests!

If you already hold a lifeguard qualification, that’s fantastic! If not, don’t worry—we’ll provide you with the training you need, including the NPLQ course. If selected, you’ll also need to complete and pass a Butlin’s swim test, which includes:

• Swimming 50m in under 75 seconds.
• Treading water.
• Surface diving.
• Climbing out of the pool unaided.
