Location: Lewisham
Hours: 40 hours per week

Your Role
As a Premises Manager, you will be at the heart of ensuring our school premises are safe, functional, and welcoming. This is your chance to shine through proactive management, quick problem-solving, and effective coordination of maintenance activities. You’ll oversee the day-to-day delivery of Authority Requirements as per the PFI contract for your assigned school, all while being part of a supportive team that values your expertise.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate repairs and maintenance to minimize disruption to school activities.
- Manage health and safety compliance, including risk assessments, contractor operations, and emergency procedures.
- Oversee reactive and planned maintenance in line with contract SLAs through the CAFM system.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Premises Officers and Cleaning Staff, identifying training and development opportunities.
- Build positive relationships with school staff and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for premises-related queries.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Have proven experience as a site-based FM Manager with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and facilities management best practices.
- Are skilled at building and maintaining positive client relationships while balancing contractual requirements.
- Hold a Full driving licence and are proficient in MS Office and CAFM systems.
