Location: Thimble Mill Lane, Birmingham, B7 5HR
Hours: Permanent full-time, 40 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 to £36,000, depending on experience and qualifications

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be an essential part of the Birmingham highways team, focusing on:
- Installing and upgrading streetlighting assets as part of a dedicated crew
- Setting up and maintaining safe working sites on highways
- Completing safety-critical emergency works and necessary documentation
- Engaging professionally with the public when approached
- Assisting with risk assessments and adhering to all safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
This position is perfect for you if:
- You have knowledge of streetlighting works (HEA, NHSS8)
- You thrive in collaborative teamwork and enjoy building relationships
- You’re committed to safety and care about the communities we serve
- You hold a HGV Class 2 licence
