About Us

Our Kier/Graham Joint Venture is at the forefront of delivering capital works for the MOD at one of the UK’s largest and most vital naval facilities. With a diverse pipeline of projects, including high-value new builds, refurbishments, and infrastructure, this role promises stability, security, and variety.

Your Responsibilities

As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in our capital works team, ensuring the successful delivery of essential construction projects for the MOD. Your daily tasks will include:

• Ensuring the safe delivery of construction activities on site under stringent safety conditions.
• Overseeing and directing subcontractor partners to deliver work packages, including groundworks, drainage, structural frame erection, roofing, cladding, and interior fit-out.
• Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure safe and appropriate working methods.
• Coordinating site logistics, including the movement of plant and labor while maintaining safety standards.
• Creating, logging, and filing site reports accurately using platforms such as Procore and SnapMaster.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

• Have management experience in a similar role within the UK construction industry.
• Possess experience in a main contracting environment on large-scale commercial builds ranging from £10M to £100M.
• Hold a relevant Construction Management Qualification (HND/Degree/SVQ).
• Possess an SMSTS 5 Day Certificate, CSCS Card, and First Aid certification.
• Have strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with subcontractors and project teams.
