  • Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility available
  • Salary: Starting from £40,000 per annum
  • Sector: MEP across various industry sectors

Your Role

As a Senior Revit Technician, you will lead the charge in delivering high-quality building services coordinated design and 3D modeling on complex, multidisciplinary projects. Your expertise will help bridge client requirements with engineering delivery, ensuring innovation and quality control throughout the project lifecycle (RIBA/BSRIA stages 2-6).

Key Requirements

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Building Services Engineering or related field
  • Proven senior-level experience in delivering complex mechanical and electrical 2D and 3D layouts and BIM models
  • Strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in quality procedures, document control, and CDE platforms
  • Fluency in industry-related software and processes
  • Able to meet BPSS/security requirements

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality MEP coordinated designs and detailed layouts using 3D Revit and 2D CAD
  • Act as the lead coordinator, liaising with MEP specialists and other design disciplines
  • Provide senior-level technical advice in BIM/COBie/Revit/CAD activities
  • Drive innovation and sustainable design solutions
  • Contribute to deliverables in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
  • Prepare and monitor model coordination and drawing output delivery programmes
  • Maintain standards and provide clear reporting to senior leaders

Skills

  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit (3D) and AutoCAD (2D)
  • Experience in BIM coordination and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of building regulations and construction methods
  • Able to interpret engineering sketches and design briefs
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in advanced design stages
  • Conversant with COBie deliverables and asset tagging

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant qualification in Engineering, CAD, or 3D digital engineering
  • Proven experience with MEP digital drafting and coordination on complex projects
