Location: Salford / Speke
Hours: 40 hours per week (some flexibility available)
Your Responsibilities
As our Major Projects Electrical Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the electrical design for large, complex construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the management of all works delivered through the Electrical team
- Collaborating with the Major Projects Mechanical Lead to ensure coordinated solutions
- Managing team utilization levels and balancing capabilities with workload
- Setting and maintaining quality standards for product delivery
- Providing high-level technical advice in electrical building services engineering
- Participating in project design meetings to establish solutions and agree on concepts
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
- A degree in Mechanical Building Services or Electrical Engineering and are a Chartered Engineer and member of CIBSE or IET
- Significant knowledge of the road tunnel industry
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to a wider audience
- Experience in applying quality procedures and document control in engineering design
- The ability to meet BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requirements
