Are you ready to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for a Traffic Management Operative to join our dynamic highways maintenance team in Brixworth. This is your chance to play a vital role in ensuring the safety of work sites across the region while developing your skills in a supportive environment.

Location & Hours

Location: Brixworth – site-based, 5 days per week

Hours: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary: £31,000 - £35,000 per year + excellent benefits

Your Responsibilities

As a Traffic Management Operative, you will work closely with dedicated maintenance teams, providing essential traffic management support for various projects. Your hands-on role will include:

  • Completing traffic management risk assessments to ensure site safety
  • Reviewing and implementing traffic management arrangements for minor works
  • Supporting maintenance activities, including hand sweeping, cleaning, and litter picking
  • Loading, unloading, and handling materials and equipment safely
  • Collaborating with your team to deliver high-quality maintenance projects

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Holds LANTRA Traffic Management qualifications at T1/M1 and T2/M2 levels
  • Brings hands-on experience from highway maintenance or a similar field
  • Has completed relevant SHE matrix training for the role
  • Is committed to working safely and prioritizes the well-being of colleagues and the public
  • Thrives in a team environment and enjoys contributing to shared success
