What You’ll Be Doing

As our Major Projects Electrical Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating electrical design for large, complex construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the management of all works delivered through the Electrical team
  • Collaborating with the Major Projects Mechanical Lead to ensure coordinated solutions for major new builds
  • Effectively managing team utilization levels and balancing capabilities with workload
  • Setting and maintaining high standards for quality of product delivery
  • Providing high-level technical advice in electrical building services engineering
  • Participating in project design meetings to establish solutions and agree on concepts

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

  • Are a Chartered Engineer and member of CIBSE or IET, with a degree in Mechanical Building Services or Electrical Engineering
  • Have significant knowledge of the road tunnel industry
  • Can communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible way
  • Have experience with quality procedures and document control in engineering design
  • Can meet the BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requirements
