Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic HS2 North Calvert Civils Package team in beautiful Buckinghamshire. In this pivotal role, you’ll be instrumental in delivering commercial excellence across one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects.

HS2 North Calvert Civils Package, Buckinghamshire

Working Hours

45 hours per week - Enjoy some flexibility in your hours; just let us know what works for you!

Salary & Benefits

Starting from £65,000 per year, plus:

  • Private healthcare
  • £6.7k annual car allowance
  • Additional benefits tailored to your needs

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be at the forefront of managing commercial resources. Your expertise will help us:

  • Maximise planned gross margin through effective contract control
  • Prepare and submit valuations, claims, and contract performance data
  • Assess and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
  • Maximise cash flow through measurement, valuation, and invoicing processes
  • Value subcontractor work and certify interim and final payments

What We’re Looking For

This role could be a perfect match for you if you possess:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or highways sector
  • A relevant qualification, such as a Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying (desirable)
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
  • A well-organised approach, with proven time management and prioritisation skills
