Location: Exeter, Ipswich, or Salford - Remote working available with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 40 hours per week - We offer flexibility on hours, just let us know what works for you!
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in our Design Team, delivering coordinated and sustainable engineering solutions. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead the technical delivery of drainage and water design packages across various projects, including building, development, transportation, and flood management.
- Manage programme, budget, and risk commitments for your work packages, escalating issues as needed.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure integrated and efficient design delivery.
- Provide line management and mentoring to graduates or apprentices, supporting their technical development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of team practices, standards, and delivery quality.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You have proven experience in delivering drainage and water design packages with a high degree of technical autonomy.
- You’re confident in managing the technical delivery of work packages, including programme awareness, cost control, and proactive risk management.
- You thrive in collaborative environments and engage effectively with stakeholders.
- You have a track record of producing high-quality, compliant engineering outputs in line with relevant standards and regulations.
- You hold a full driving licence and are willing to travel as required.
