Join Our Team as a European Cutover Lead!

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a transformative journey? We are looking for an experienced and dynamic European Cutover Lead to spearhead the planning and execution of multiple cutovers, go-lives, and Hyper-care phases as part of our exciting multi-year D365 ERP transformation programme. This is your chance to ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to cutting-edge ERP solutions!

In this role, you will leverage your strong background in ERP implementations and excellent leadership skills to manage both business and technical activities across diverse stakeholders and geographies. Your expertise will be essential in minimizing downtime and maintaining business continuity during this critical transition.

Work Environment: We offer a hybrid working contract, requiring you to be in the office in Ashford, Kent or Hemel Hempstead 3 times per week. Flexibility with travel and commuting for project and team meetings is a must!

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Cutover Planning and Execution: Develop and own detailed cutover strategies, plans, and schedules for multiple releases, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and timelines.
  • Leadership and Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors, to ensure smooth execution of all cutover activities.
  • Execution: Oversee cutover activities such as data migration, system configuration, and user access management.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders throughout the cutover process.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and ensure programme success.
  • Go-Live Management: Ensure readiness across all business and IT teams during go-live activities, managing escalations in a timely manner.
  • Hyper-care Oversight: Lead post-go-live Hyper-care phases, ensuring resolution of critical issues and stabilisation of the new system.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with senior leadership and programme management to ensure buy-in and clear communication throughout the transformation journey.
  • Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned from each phase, driving improvements for future cutovers and go-lives.

About You:

You are a proven leader with experience in cutover, go-live, and hyper-care activities within large-scale ERP transformations, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar platforms. Your strong understanding of both business and technical dimensions of ERP systems, including data migration and process change, sets you apart.

As a confident leader, you excel at coordinating cross-functional teams in complex, multi-country environments. You build strong stakeholder relationships and drive alignment under pressure. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures seamless execution, and your expertise in risk identification and mitigation allows you to remain calm and decisive during high-pressure situations.

With excellent communication skills in English (additional European languages are a plus), you ideally hold project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile. Your experience spans multi-year transformation programmes, and you bring a solid understanding of organisational change management practices to ensure successful and sustainable outcomes.
