What to Expect
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, and you’ll be responsible for:
- Routine servicing
- Advanced diagnostics using cutting-edge mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Providing member advice and recommendations
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With everything you need from day one—a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and tools—you’ll use your technical skills to keep our members moving safely and confidently.

What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
