Join Our Team as a Restaurant General Manager!

Welcome to KFC, home of the real ones! We’re proud to serve the world’s best chicken, a legacy that began in 1939 when our Colonel had a finger-lickin’ good idea. Today, we’re a part of over 1000 communities across the UK and Ireland, bringing the grit, pride, and iconic reputation that started in Kentucky.

At KFC, we celebrate originality and individuality. We come to work to be ourselves and to make something of ourselves. Every day, we bring the graft and the laughs, building our community while serving our original recipe chicken to those around us. Here, ambition grows, careers build, and potential goes further. Our doors are open, and they can take you anywhere.

If you join our team, we ask just one thing: be you. Because that’s what makes us, us!

About the Role

As a Restaurant General Manager, you’ll lead from the front, taking full ownership of the restaurant. Your mission? Smash performance goals while building a team that doesn’t just meet standards but exceeds them. You’ll own the numbers, the vibe, and the experience, ensuring everything runs smoothly while creating a thriving space for both guests and the team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead with Passion: Take full ownership of the restaurant, driving performance and setting the vibe.
  • Build a Winning Team: Train, coach, and motivate your team to not just meet but raise the standard.
  • Smash Targets: Own your KPIs and inspire your team to deliver every shift, every day.
  • Keep Operations Smooth: Stay on top of admin tasks like rosters, stock, and reporting.
  • Create Unforgettable Experiences: Turn first-timers into regulars by crafting memorable moments.

What We’re Looking For

  • Leadership Skills: You’ve managed teams before and know how to bring out the best in people.
  • People Skills: You build strong teams, handle tough conversations, and foster a culture where everyone feels valued.
  • Operational Excellence: You keep operations efficient, clean, and compliant, even in chaos.

Why KFC?

At KFC, we don’t just hire staff — we hire people. People with real lives and aspirations, building real careers. We encourage you to add your unique perspective to our mix. Everyone is welcome here, regardless of background or future aspirations. We’ll invest in your potential because that’s what we’ve always done, and we’ll give you the freedom to be yourself.

What’s in It for You?

  • Competitive Pay: £38,000 - £42,000
  • Quarterly Bonus: Rewarding your hustle!
  • Extra Holiday: More time to recharge.
  • Life Assurance: We’ve got you covered.
  • Free Chicken & Chips: Enjoy delicious meals every shift.
  • 25% Staff Discount: Treat yourself and your loved ones.
  • Gym Discounts: Stay active and healthy.
  • 200+ High Street Perks & Cashback: Enjoy great savings.
  • Wellbeing Support: We’re here to help you thrive.

Our promise is simple: every applicant will have an equal opportunity to work here, regardless of age, background, ethnicity, gender, ability, religion, or sexual orientation. We encourage applications from underrepresented groups in all industries.

If you need additional support during the application process, just let us know. We’re here to help you be the real you.
