Are you ready to take your electrical expertise to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Electrical Qualifying Engineer to join our dynamic maintenance team in the vibrant South East region, specifically London and surrounding areas.

Location & Hours

Location: South East region

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Your Role

As an Electrical Qualifying Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical services across multiple client sites. This position not only allows you to showcase your technical skills but also offers the opportunity to develop your professional accreditation, working towards EngTech status. Your commitment to safety, efficiency, and compliance will be key to our success.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and minor works across client sites.
  • Conduct audit checks on in-house electricians and subcontractor electrical works as a Qualifying Supervisor.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems and equipment to meet service level targets.
  • Install new plant and equipment, ensuring all work meets required standards and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records and condition ratings for the asset management database.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You are a fully qualified electrician holding a JIB/ECS Gold card with NVQ Level 3 (C&G 2360/2330/2356/2357/2382).
  • You possess 18th Edition BS7671 and 2391 full test and inspection qualifications, along with AM1 and AM2.
  • You have experience in electrical maintenance and are working towards or hold EngTech accreditation.
