Your Role as a Mobile Mechanic
As a Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers—whether they’re at home or at work. Enjoy the freedom of working outside the traditional garage environment while delivering first-class service!

What We’re Looking For
We want someone who truly understands people. As a Mobile Mechanic, you’ll be the face of the RAC, engaging with customers and representing our values with pride. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a vehicle technician.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
