We’re on the lookout for a Highways Maintenance Operative specializing in carriageway and footway reinstatement to join our dynamic Transportation team in Birmingham. Birmingham (B7 5HR)

Contract:

Permanent, Full-time

Salary:

£27,976 to £33,000 depending on experience + call out + overtime + standby

Your Responsibilities:

As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will be an essential part of our Operative team, engaging in both reactive and planned highways maintenance works. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on the network, operating various plant and equipment, and ensuring all site and company equipment is secure.
  • Utilizing WMS / MMW applications during incidents and emergency repairs, while maintaining accurate records of works on the network.
  • Conducting daily defect reports on vehicles and ensuring they are kept in good order.

  • Are Street Works qualified (units 1-9).
  • Hold a full driving license.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
