Your Earnings Potential

  • Guaranteed Overtime: After your first month, opt to work extra rest days at £30 per hour. Just one extra day a month could earn you an additional £3,000 per year!
  • Flexible Hours: Enjoy a full-time, 40-hour week with core hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Role as a Mobile Mechanic

As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers—whether they’re at home or at work. You’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.

We’ll equip you for success from day one with:

  • Your own RAC van
  • A fuel card

  • Essential tools and diagnostic kit

What We’re Looking For

You’re not just a mechanic; you’re a people person. Here’s what we need:

  • A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a vehicle technician
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
