Location & Hours

Location: Cardiff - with the flexibility of remote working and occasional office visits.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility available. Just let us know what works for you!

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Drainage Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Drainage team, delivering exceptional design solutions across various water, flooding, and drainage projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Drainage Lead in delivering a portfolio of projects on time and within budget
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and statutory bodies
  • Leading technically challenging drainage projects with innovative, sustainable solutions
  • Coordinating daily tasks and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Mentoring and coaching team members to foster their development
  • Managing project delivery and promptly addressing any concerns

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You have experience in highway drainage, water utilities, and working with Lead Local Flood Authorities
  • You’re proficient in InfoDrainage and AutoCAD Civils3D, with strong technical skills
  • You hold a Civil Engineering degree (or similar qualification) and are a member of a relevant engineering body
  • You have significant experience leading diverse drainage projects
  • You’re a clear communicator who enjoys collaboration and team development
