Join Our Team as an Electrical Engineer!

Location
You'll be based at the Colchester Primary Care Centre and Fryatt Hospital in Harwich.
Working Hours

Your Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be the backbone of our healthcare facilities, ensuring they operate smoothly and safely. You will:
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance, including emergency lighting testing, fire alarm activation testing, and generator testing.
- Respond to reactive electrical tasks, diagnosing faults and completing first-time fixes whenever possible.
- Accurately record all maintenance activities using our CAFM system on digital devices.
- Support subcontractors through induction, monitor their work quality, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Participate in on-call duties (1 week in 3) to guarantee continuous building operations.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You hold a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations (such as C&G 236) and possess Inspection and Testing certification (C&G, 18th Edition).
- You have a full driving license and are comfortable traveling between sites.
- You are adept at using digital systems and tablets to update work records and complete tasks.
