Location & Hours

Location: Optimum House, Clippers Quay, Salford, M50 3XP. Enjoy the flexibility of remote working with occasional travel to the office.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility available. Just let us know what works for you!

Your Responsibilities

As a Highways Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of our Design team, delivering high-quality highway schemes. You’ll work on exciting projects such as:

  • National Highways SDF Framework
  • Legacy Concrete Roads Reconstruction Framework
  • A66 Northern Trans-Pennine
  • A417 Missing Link

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Preparing technical design drawings, specifications, and reports in line with DMRB and relevant standards
  • Delivering highway studies and smaller schemes with minimal supervision
  • Collaborating with senior team members on major projects
  • Conducting site visits and liaising with clients and stakeholders
  • Using AutoCAD to provide innovative engineering solutions while ensuring quality standards are met

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You hold a Civil Engineering degree or a similar combination of qualifications and experience
  • You’re experienced in using AutoCAD and have a working knowledge of DMRB standards
  • You’re working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer accreditation
  • You have experience delivering a range of projects and can communicate technical information clearly
  • You hold a valid driving licence and CSCS card
