Your Role

As a Junior Kitchen Manager, you will:

• Support the Kitchen Manager in running a bustling kitchen.
• Step up in the Kitchen Manager's absence, ensuring smooth operations.
• Monitor guest experiences and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
• Lead daily briefings and foster a positive team environment.
• Manage stock control and ensure food presentation meets our high standards.
• Deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning and cooking.
• Uphold food hygiene standards and health & safety regulations.
• Inspire your team to embody Butlin’s unique way of working.

What We’re Looking For

We want energetic and enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Here’s what you need:

• Experience in a similar role with large volume turnover (we serve up to 3000 guests per service!).
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• A hard-working, reliable attitude with a focus on delivering brand standards.
• A Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
• Confidence in leading a team to maintain high standards in a busy kitchen.
• A fun-loving spirit that contributes to a positive guest experience.

Working Conditions

This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, totaling 40 hours per week. Shift times are from 6 AM to 12 PM. Please note that this position does not come with onsite accommodation.
