Job Details
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) - some flexibility available!
Salary: £27,000 to £29,000, depending on experience

Your Responsibilities
As a GIS Technician, you will play a crucial role in our Digital Delivery team. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Ensuring high accuracy in GIS data creation, management, and analysis
- Providing dedicated GIS resources to specific business areas
- Advancing GIS solutions that benefit the wider Kier business
- Training team members on GIS software and applications
- Preparing maps, reports, and relevant information for stakeholders
- Capturing location assets using various technologies and GPS tools
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Possess a high level of IT competency, including experience with Microsoft Office and complex SQL databases
- Are familiar with ESRI ArcGIS products across desktop, server/web, and mobile devices
- Have knowledge of asset management principles and GIS application development
- Stay updated on trends and developments in the geographic information systems field
