Important Eligibility Criteria

• We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
• Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required, which can take up to 8 weeks.
• Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Engineering Surveyor (Assurance), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards throughout the construction process. Your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting assurance surveys for reinforced concrete structures, including pre-pour and post-pour checks, and as-built surveys using laser scanning.
• Checking and maintaining survey control networks while operating survey equipment with precision.
• Supporting engineers with setting out activities and preparing survey reports, drawings, and data outputs.
• Coordinating with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to align construction programs with survey operations.
• Managing quality control procedures in accordance with QC1 requirements, ensuring traceability and reporting standards.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

• You hold a degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Construction.
• You have 3-5 years of experience in a similar surveying position on civil engineering projects.
• You’re proficient with surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS/GNSS, and laser scanners, as well as survey data processing software like AutoCAD Civil 3D, Leica Infinity, Cyclone, and 3DR.
• You possess a strong understanding of QC1 procedures and quality documentation, with excellent attention to detail.
• You hold a CSCS Card, relevant site safety qualifications, and are a member of CInstCES (or working towards full membership).
