Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic HS2 North Calvert Civils Package team in beautiful Buckinghamshire. About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of our commercial team, helping to manage project finances and maximize our planned gross margin. Your expertise will ensure that we maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial resources and control costs through effective contract and subcontract placement.
  • Produce and submit valuations, claims, and budget monitoring reports.
  • Assess and mitigate commercial and contractual risks across the project.
  • Maximize cash flow by measuring, valuing work, and managing invoicing processes.
  • Value subcontractor work and certify interim and final payments.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for someone who brings:

  • Experience in a similar role within the construction or highways sector.
  • A relevant qualification such as a Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility to travel when required and adapt to varying working hours.

Working Conditions

Location: Buckinghamshire - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: Permanent Full-time, 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available, just let us know when you speak to us.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £57,000 per year, along with:
