Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic HS2 North Calvert Civils Package team in beautiful Buckinghamshire. In this pivotal role, you’ll be instrumental in delivering commercial excellence across one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.

Key Details

Location: HS2 North Calvert Civils Package, Buckinghamshire
Hours: 45 hours per week (some flexibility available!)
Salary: Starting from £65,000 per year + private healthcare + £6.7k annual car allowance + additional benefits
Note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:

  • Manage commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin through effective contract control.
  • Prepare and submit valuations, claims, and contract performance data.
  • Assess and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
  • Maximize cash flow through measurement, valuation, and invoicing processes.
  • Value subcontractor work and certify interim and final payments.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or highways sector.
  • A relevant qualification, such as a Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying (desirable).
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • A well-organized approach, with proven time management and the ability to prioritize effectively.
