Your Role at a Glance

As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:

• Competitive Base Salary: Start with £40,178, with potential on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
• Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
• Structured Work Hours: 40 hours per week, core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Where You’ll Work

You’ll be part of the Chesterfield cluster, covering areas like Chesterfield, Mansfield, Alfreton, Bolsover, Clay Cross, and Dronfield. Enjoy the freedom of being out on the road, working through a clearly planned schedule of appointments.

Your Daily Tasks

Your day will start with a clear digital schedule, and you’ll be responsible for:

• Routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop.
• Providing member advice and recommendations based on inspections.
• Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards.

What You’ll Need

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
