Your Role at a Glance
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive Base Salary: Start with £40,178, with potential on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
- Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your earnings with optional overtime and bonuses.
- Structured Work Hours: 40 hours per week, core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

In our SMR division, you won’t face emergency callouts or unpredictable shifts. Instead, you’ll work through a scheduled list of jobs, equipped with the time, tools, and support to deliver quality work. Here’s what you can expect:

- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop.
- Member advice and recommendations based on thorough inspections.

Your Work Environment
You’ll be part of the Exeter cluster, covering areas like Exeter, Exmouth, Sidmouth, and more. Enjoy the freedom of being out on the road, working through a clearly planned schedule of appointments—no reactive callouts, just organized, pre-booked work.
What You’ll Need
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
