Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic HS2 North Calvert Civils Package team in beautiful Buckinghamshire. Your Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be an essential part of our commercial team, helping to manage project finances and maximize our planned gross margin. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing commercial resources and controlling costs through effective contract and subcontract placement.
- Producing and submitting valuations, claims, and budget monitoring reports.
- Assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks across the project.
- Maximizing cash flow through measuring, valuing work, and managing invoicing processes.
- Valuing subcontractor work and certifying interim and final payments.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for someone who brings:
- Experience in a similar role within the construction or highways sector.
- A relevant qualification such as a Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to travel when required and adapt to varying working hours.
Working Conditions
Location: Buckinghamshire - Enjoy the flexibility of remote working with occasional travel to the office.
Hours: Permanent Full-time - 45 hours per week, with some flexibility available. Just let us know what works for you!
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £57,000 per year, along with:
- Private healthcare.
- A £5.9k car allowance.
