Location & Hours
Location: Optimum House, Clippers Quay, Salford, M50 3XP. We offer remote working options, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility available. Just let us know your preferences when we chat!

Your Responsibilities
As a Highways Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of our Design team, working on exciting projects such as:
- National Highways SDF Framework
- Legacy Concrete Roads Reconstruction Framework
- A66 Northern Trans-Pennine and A417 missing link
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Preparing technical design drawings, specifications, and reports in line with DMRB and relevant standards
- Delivering highway studies and smaller schemes with minimal supervision
- Collaborating with senior team members on major projects and taking ownership of key design elements
- Conducting site visits and liaising with clients, statutory bodies, and stakeholders
- Using AutoCAD to provide innovative engineering solutions while ensuring quality standards are met
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You hold a Civil Engineering degree or a similar combination of qualifications and experience
- You have experience using AutoCAD and a working knowledge of DMRB standards
- You’re working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer accreditation with a relevant professional body
- You can communicate technical information clearly and have experience delivering a range of projects
- You hold a valid driving licence and CSCS card
