Are you ready to make a difference in your community? We’re on the lookout for a Highways Operative to join our dedicated team in Brixworth, Northamptonshire. This is your chance to play a vital role in maintaining and improving the infrastructure that keeps our communities connected and safe!
Location:
Brixworth, Northamptonshire
Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary:
£28,000 to £29,800 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Your Responsibilities:
As a Highways Operative, you’ll be an essential part of our maintenance team, helping to deliver high-quality highway repairs and improvements. Your daily tasks will include:
- Operating light plant equipment such as compressors, rollers, disc cutters, and vibrating plates, while ensuring their daily upkeep.
- Assisting skilled team members with kerbing, drainage, paving, bricklaying, and surfacing works.
- Excavating materials safely and efficiently using hand and powered tools.
- Performing general site duties, including sweeping, cleaning, litter picking, and handling materials and equipment.
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive working environment for all team members.
