Are you ready to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Exeter, Ipswich, or Salford. Enjoy the flexibility of remote working, with occasional travel to the office!

Location & Hours

Location: Exeter, Ipswich, or Salford – remote working available, with occasional office visits required.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours is available. Just let us know your preferences when we chat!

Your Responsibilities

As an Engineer – Drainage and Water, you’ll play a vital role in our Design team, delivering compliant and sustainable drainage and water solutions. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Deliver high-quality outputs for assigned tasks within work packages.
  • Apply relevant design standards, regulations, and quality processes consistently.
  • Manage individual tasks within the programme and budget, escalating issues and proposing solutions as needed.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and technical development, guiding early-career engineers.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You have demonstrable technical competence in Drainage & Water engineering, with experience across one or more sectors.
  • You can work autonomously, taking ownership of technical outputs while supporting wider package delivery.
  • You’re familiar with applying relevant design standards, regulations, and quality processes.
  • You understand programme, budget, and risk considerations for assigned tasks and can escalate issues appropriately.
  • You hold a full driving licence and are willing to travel as required.
