Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a MEICA Project Manager to join our dynamic team at United Utilities in the beautiful North West of England. This is your chance to oversee the successful delivery of MEICA projects from design to handover, making a real impact in the water sector!
About the Role
As a MEICA Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in our strategic partnership with United Utilities for AMP8. You’ll be involved in the installation and upgrading of treatment and distribution assets, contributing to the design and build services for both new and existing infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
In this exciting position, you will:
- Oversee project reporting, including key performance indicators and project status updates.
- Manage the selection and coordination of mechanical and electrical supply chain partners.
- Take accountability for the design integration of M&E package plants and associated control systems.
- Lead programme ownership for all mechanical and electrical aspects from design through to commissioning and handover.
- Manage and develop team members, including Project Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, and Supervisors.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You have experience in a similar role, ideally within water sector projects.
- You hold a BEng/ONC/HNC qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- You are technically competent in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
- You possess strong people and project management skills with a keen commercial awareness.
- You hold a full driving licence.

Working Conditions
This position requires a commitment of 45 hours per week, with some flexibility available. Please note that we are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
