Location & Hours
Location: Towcester, Northamptonshire
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary
Salary: £28,000 to £29,800 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

Your Role
As a Highways Operative, you will be an essential part of our maintenance team, contributing to high-quality highway repairs and improvements. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Operate light plant equipment such as compressors, rollers, disc cutters, and vibrating plates, ensuring their daily upkeep.
- Assist skilled team members with kerbing, drainage, paving, bricklaying, and surfacing works.
- Excavate materials using hand and powered tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform general site duties including sweeping, cleaning, litter picking, and handling materials and equipment.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive working environment for all team members.
