Why This Role Matters

As a Google Workspace Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our digital transformation! Your mission? To set up and manage Google Workspace for our entire team. You'll lead the charge in migrating from Microsoft Office to the Google stack, ensuring the security of our sensitive data while establishing essential Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and security protocols. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding our company's information.

Key Skills We’re Looking For

  • Hands-on Experience: Practical knowledge of the Google Workspace ecosystem, including Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Cloud Identity. Certifications are a plus, but proven experience is essential!

  • Migration Expertise: Demonstrated success in migrating mid-to-large scale organizations (100+ people) from Microsoft to Google Workspace.

  • DLP Security Background: Strong experience in setting up security and DLP rules for highly sensitive data.

  • Regulated Environment Experience: Familiarity with sectors like finance, healthcare, or public services is beneficial.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proactive Attitude: A self-sufficient professional who can manage their workload independently.

Your Responsibilities

  • Setup & Configuration: Configure and maintain Google Workspace for all staff across the organization.

  • Tool Management: Oversee the tools used for configuring and updating the Google stack, adjusting features as needed.

  • Migration Support: Facilitate the transition from Microsoft Office to Google Workspace, providing direct support to users.

  • Security Implementation: Establish and maintain robust security and DLP rules to protect sensitive company data.
