Key Skills You'll Bring

  • Programme Coordination: Master the end-to-end management of plans, dependencies, risks, and diverse stakeholders.
  • Learning Design & E-Learning Development: Create engaging, role-based learning materials in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and develop interactive e-learning content using Adobe Creative Suite/Captivate.
  • Training Delivery: Facilitate dynamic virtual and in-person sessions, ensuring a consistent standard across all cohorts.
  • Communication & Influence: Clearly convey complex information to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes.
  • Analytical & Risk Mindset: Utilize data-driven insights for continuous improvement while maintaining a strong awareness of risk and governance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate comprehensive induction activities to equip new joiners with essential knowledge, tools, and behaviors.
  • Achieve official accreditation to manage and facilitate sessions within the specialized Learning & Training Induction Lab.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and business leaders to design and embed effective induction content.
  • Review and update the induction curriculum to align with Barclays' compliance standards.
  • Oversee learning operations and governance to ensure all training delivery is controlled and auditable.
  • Identify and implement improvements to induction content based on feedback to enhance time-to-competence for new hires.
  • Consult on complex issues, mitigate risks, and drive operational effectiveness as an Assistant Vice President (AVP).
