Your New Role

We’re excited to announce an opening in the Compliance team at Warner Bros. Studio Tour - The Making of Harry Potter. This dynamic team ensures product safety and regulatory compliance across all our product categories for Warner Bros. Tours, retail stores, and our website. Your mission? To ensure that every product we develop is safe and market-ready.

As a Junior Compliance Technologist based in Leavesden Park, you will play a crucial role in the product development process, delivering innovative, high-quality products that meet global testing and labeling regulations. Your focus will primarily be on apparel and soft lines, but you may also work with hardlines, drinkware, and toys.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Provide safety and compliance support throughout the product development lifecycle for various categories, including clothing, accessories, gifts, and toys.

  • Collaborate with Buying, Design, Merchandising, and Sourcing teams, as well as suppliers, to manage critical paths and deliver high-quality, compliant products on time.

  • Ensure product and packaging quality, safety, and compliance through effective supplier management and accurate specifications.

  • Lead garment fitting and technical specification management, maintaining block libraries and ensuring consistent grading across all ranges.

  • Drive product quality and innovation through fabric and trim development, testing, and continuous improvement of materials and construction standards.

  • Maintain compliance records, documentation, and testing processes to ensure timely regulatory adherence.

Qualifications & Experience

  • In-depth understanding of garment construction, fit, grading, fabrics, testing, and performance standards for both adults and childrenswear.

  • Knowledge of global compliance, product safety, and quality regulations, including REACH and CPSIA.

  • Strong communication skills to maintain excellent working relationships.

  • Highly analytical with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced retail environment or with a licensee supplier.

  • Hands-on experience in record keeping and administration within product safety and regulatory compliance.

Working Conditions

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days will be carried out at the workplace. Please note that WBD reserves the right to change this working agreement as necessary for business needs, with reasonable notice.
