Your Role and Responsibilities
As the Registered Manager, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children aged 9-17 with complex emotional and behavioral needs.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and lead staff practice to ensure a child-centered approach.
- Maintain robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency collaboration.
- Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide the best care possible.
- Drive continuous improvement in line with Area Camden's standards and the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Leadership and Management qualification (or a willingness to work towards one) and NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
- Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding regulations, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Standards Act 2000.
- Experience in managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
- A genuine passion for children's welfare and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for them.

Working Conditions and Benefits
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with a flexible rota that you will manage. Here’s what we offer:
- Base salary of £52,000, with potential earnings up to £58,600 through bonuses.
- 32 days of annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year for the first three years.
- Workplace pension and mobile phone provided.
- Performance bonuses for Ofsted ratings: £3,000 for Outstanding and £1,500 for Good.
- Full occupancy bonus of £300 per month.
- Company car or £3,000 annual travel allowance.
- Local parking permit and a 3-month notice period (except in disciplinary cases).
