Join Our Team as a Workforce Change & Restructuring Specialist!

Location: Glasgow/Northampton/Manchester/London

Hybrid: 3 days a week in the office

Contract Length: 6 months

Employment Type: PAYE only

Your Role

As a key player in our Workforce Change and Restructuring delivery model, you will be instrumental in driving impactful change across Barclays. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting various change programs.
  • Collaborating with HR teams on restructuring, outsourcing, and new site setups across global locations.

Key Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Project Initiation
  • Due Diligence
  • Consultation
  • Implementation
  • Communication Planning
  • Governance and Risk Management
  • Center of Excellence (COE) Contributions

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Extensive experience in Workforce Change and Restructuring (highlighted in your CV).
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with unions and conduct consultations.
  • Experience in handling employee consultations and redundancies.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • A solid understanding of current employment legislation.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (intermediate level).

Essential Experience

We value candidates with:

  • Technical expertise in consultancy, unions, and redundancy legal requirements.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Experience in data management and manipulation using Excel.
